Education and Qualifications
Cumbria Institute of the Arts - BA(Hons) Graphic Design
September 1999 – June 2002
During this three year course programme, I undertook a series of imaginative briefs that addressed specific themes and design specialisms whilst allowing me to develop my technical skills. In my final year I undertook a major, self-negotiated design project that required research, evaluation and a formal presentation at assessment and the degree show.
A selection of my work was also chosen by the college for exhibition at D&AD's 'New Blood' student showcase in 2002.
WALCAT - BTEC Diploma in Foundation Studies (Art and Design)
September 1998 – June 1999
A programme of study designed to allow me to make an informed decision about my progression onto art and design programme in higher education. This was a requirement of acceptance onto a design degree, and confirmed that I wanted to study Graphic Design.
